Our artists assemble combinations of our custom-made dichroic
glass with other types of glass materials, which are then fused
together in computer-controlled kilns multiple times, often at
temperatures of up to 1500 degrees. The gems are then
ground, polished and findings are added.

In a process originally developed for NASA, microscopic coatings
of semi precious metals like quartz, magnesium and titanium are
applied to the surface of glass in a vacuum chamber. The
coatings allow certain wavelengths of light to pass through, while
reflecting others. We see the results of this 'Dichroic' filtering
technology as stunning, intense colors.
